Yes, you are reading that right. Only one rider was above a 70% last night. I must say that while I had fun, the dressage was just not up to the standard that is normally set by Dressage at Devon when it comes to the Grand Prix Classes. I was warned of this by those who went on Friday night and wanted to be optimistic that Saturday night would be better. It wasn’t. Not all the horses showing on Saturday night had a piaffe and passage!! ANd only 10 riders made it to Saturday night instead of the normal 12. One of my favorites, Cathy Morelli, had a rough ride on Friday, went off course…twice!, and did not make the cut to come back.
